In order to further deepen the education cooperation between China and South Sudan, as well as to strengthen the mutual understanding and friendship between our two peoples, the Chinese Government has been providing scholarships for South Sudanese students to study in Chinese higher education institutions since the founding of the Republic of South Sudan.
For the academic year of 2024/2025, which starts from September 2024 (the actual school starting time is subject to the notice of the universities), the Chinese Government Scholarship will provide scholarships for South Sudanese students who wish to study in China for bachelor, master and doctoral degrees (Please note that the international travel costs shall be borne by the scholarship recipients).
The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of South Sudan invites qualified citizens of South Sudan to apply for the 2024/2025 Chinese Government Scholarship.
Applicants should log onto the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System for online application（www.campuschina.org）. After successfully completing the online application, the hard copy of the full package of required application documents must be delivered to the Chinese Embassy (Independence Road, Juba) no later than January 15, 2024.
Please note that from this academic year on, all applicants must provide a pre-admission document issued by the universities applying. Pre-admission documents include pre-admission notice issued by the international students admission department or invitation letter from the schools or professors, etc. (The information and contacts of the Chinese universities can be found on https://www.campuschina.org/universities/index.html)
