"True friendship knows no distance; ten thousand miles are but a heartbeat away." With the year 2026 designated as the “China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges”, the Chinese Embassy in South Sudan cordially invites South Sudanese from all walks of life to join the wave of cultural exchange, use your lens as a pen to record the authentic Chinese elements you see and capture every moment of the growing friendship between China and South Sudan.

I. Submission Format

Participants should submit short video content with a resolution of at least 1080P and a duration between 30 seconds and 2 minutes.

II. Themes

Your short videos may focus on, but are not limited to, the following perspectives:

1.Understanding Chinese Modernization and China's Development Path: Share your insights on Chinese modernization based on personal experience or public information, and analyze how China's development model can serve as a reference for South Sudan.

2.China Aid and China-Africa Friendship: Introduce China-South Sudan cooperation projects or China Aid to South Sudan, explaining their importance to the country’s development.

3."Being 'Chinese' for a Day": Choose Chinese cultural elements you are interested in, such as Tai Chi, Chinese cuisine, or Traditional Chinese Medicine, personally experience these traditional activities, and live as a "Chinese" for a day.

4.Stories Around You: Tell small stories involving Chinese citizens in South Sudan, highlighting the warmth and friendship between our two nations through daily details.

III. Requirements and Guidelines

Your short videos must be original, positive in nature, and factually reliable. By submitting the videos, participants grant the Chinese Embassy in South Sudan authorization to use the content for non-commercial promotional purposes.

Submissions must be sent to worksubmission2025ss@gmail.com before the deadline. Please attach the author’s name, phone number, video title, completion date, and a brief description.

IV. Timeline

1.Duration: From now until June 8, 2026.

2.Evaluation: June 8 – June 12, 2026.

3.Results Announcement: June 12, 2026. Please follow our official Facebook, X , and TikTok accounts for the results.

4.Display: June 15 – July 3, 2026. Winning short videos will be featured on the Chinese Embassy’s TikTok account (Chinese Embassy in South Sudan @chineseembassyinss).

V. Awards and Prizes

1.Grand Prize: A trip to China and a certificate.

2.First Prize: Cash prize and a certificate.

3.Second Prize: Cash prize and a certificate.

4.Third Prize: Cash prize and a certificate.

5.Encouragement Prize: Cash prize and a certificate
